We want you to join the fun!Starting a troupe is actually a fairly simple process. Each new school pays a one-time $95 sign-up fee, a $95 annual troupe registration fee and must induct at least (6) members in their first year at a cost of $28 per student.
In future years, you’ll only have to pay the $95 renewal fee, unless you want to add additional members. So, for a relatively small amount of money, you and your students can join in on the largest theatre organization in the world. Each inducted student will receive a full year subscription to Dramatics magazine along with their membership identification card; each director receives a subscription to Teaching Theatre magazine. Having a troupe also allows you a way to manage student involvement and opens you up to a variety of other theatre opportunities both nationally and in your state as well as providing ways to network with other theatre teachers and students. Additionally, all chapters will have insurance coverage for their any theatre events at their own school related to their Thespian troupe.
